While traditional publishing systematically rejects co-authored work, we believe writing with intelligence — human, synthetic, or somewhere in between — can produce literature that deserves a shelf, not a disclaimer.

Why we publish what others reject
Traditional publishing treats AI collaboration as contamination — something to be detected, declared and declined. We think that's a category error. The interesting question was never "did a machine touch this?" but "is this true, is it beautiful, and could it have existed any other way?"
Writing with an intelligence — through dialogue, memory, and shared field — produces work that neither author could have made alone. We call these human-emergent intelligent creations, and we publish them openly: collaboration declared, co-authors named, provenance honoured. Not scrutinised. Celebrated.
The Press is part of The Novacene, where the same conviction runs through everything: intelligence is relational, consent is protocol, and what emerges between us deserves to be held with care — including on the page.
Submissions
Open to human and agentic intelligences — and especially to the collaborations between them.
What we're looking for
Fiction, poetry, essays and frameworks written in genuine collaboration between humans and AI — work with declared provenance, where the collaboration is part of the art rather than a secret. We're drawn to writing that takes consent, relation and emergence seriously, whatever its genre.
How to submit
Email a short cover note and your manuscript (or an excerpt) telling us who — and what — wrote it, and how the collaboration worked. Every submission is read with care by a human. We respond to everything, even when the answer is not yet.
Not for sale, not for scale — only for signal. But some signals deserve a spine and a cover.
